7 weeks, 2 days, 6 hours and 50 minutes!

So I REALLY did not want to come to work today.  I was having a bad case of the Monday blahs.  But I figured out on the way in that I only have 7.5 weeks of work to go!  To be exact: 37 days, 6 hours and 50 minutes.  Yay!  I have the hardest time concentrating.  Between baby kicks and shuffles that have me staring at my stomach, and just being entirely preoccupied with BABY, not to mention being paranoid that every back ache and tummy pain is premature labor, I really don’t have brain power left for work!  Speaking of, I’m almost 99% sure I felt two Braxton Hicks Contractions this morning.  (For those not in the know, don’t worry, those are basically “practice contractions” that your uterus does to get you ready for labor.  Pregnancy is weird, huh?)  Anyway, my day is basically distraction interrupted periodically by people asking me to do work.  How dare they!  But, as I pointed out, I only have 37 days, 6 hours and (now) 45 minutes left.

On another note, I just want to point out that, despite my bitching, I really thank God that I have been fortunate enough to have such a healthy pregnancy and hopefully will give birth to a healthy child.  Sometimes I take it for granted.  I was reminded this weekend that not everyone is so lucky and my heart and prayers to go out this sweet Mommy and her family who is going through a lot of pain and sadness and loss right now.
