Hey, a Baby could live here!
So I’m very excited; the nursery is actually starting to look like a nursery! 1 week and 3 days ago it was a red repository for extra furniture/guest room. Now it’s a light mint green shade that looks really bright and inviting, and when we got back from Houston yesterday, Tim kicked into assembly mode. So now we have a crib with a cute Longhorn mobile on it (commence indoctrination), a chest of drawers that will double as the changing table, an end table, and a swing. We also bought a bookshelf, but that hasn’t been put together yet. Tim was hoping this would make my nesting instinct kick in and I think it worked. I really want to get back in there and get stuff in place. While he was assembling, I sorted out all the stuff from the shower. My God, this child is going to have enough clothes to wear something different nearly every day for at least the first 6 months! And she’s going to be much more stylish than me. Oh, and she’ll have enough bibs to wear a different one every day for a month. For some reason, we just got oodles and oodles of bibs. I counted last night and we got 25 bibs. TWENTY-FIVE! I assume people are trying to tell us she will be very messy. The shower was a lot of fun and we got lots of very nice stuff. I just hope we have a very mild March and April because she got some adorable sleepers that are fleece and I worry it will be way too warm for her to wear:(

You can probably get away with the fleece sleepers for a long time since they’re not supposed to have blankets on them in bed. Gilly was born in July and wore fleece at night until the following spring when she was crawling and it was warm.
Put up pictures!! I want to see all your cool stuff. :)
