Zombie Invading First Thursday!
We have certain knowledge that Zombies are moving north east into south Austin from the hill country. Their intended destination is South Congress. Expected arrival is 7-7:30, just in time for 1st Thursday. Please help us in any way to get the word out. THE ZOMBIES ARE COMING!!!
Follow the Zombies back up South Congress to Trophy’s (but avoid being eaten!) There is a free show tonight with the Unbearables (and part of the Zombie Rock Orchestra) at 9:30, followed by The Four, Attic Ted, and Ghetto Princess.

Auditionee's Rock!
We had one of our Auditionee’s blog about the process of auditioning for Loaded Gun Theory. It’s all about singing, and corrupting innocent children and stuff. You know, everything Loaded Gun theory stands for. We hope she gets cast too, but that’s because the we in question didn’t attend any of the auditions and doesn’t really know what he’s talking about, other than the fact that he likes people and wishes we could cast every actor in Austin in our productions.
Speaking of Auditions. You’d gotten a last chance. Tomorrow night (July 25th), we’re holding some callbacks, but if you’ve just woken up and realized that we’re having auditions and you still want a chance at Zombie Stardom, then send us an email at auditions@loadedguntheory.com. -

Sold out Slapdash!
Slapdash Flimflammery 3: Slapdash Slaps Back was a rousing success! We had a sold out crowd and were putting chairs in the orchestra pit. The scenes went off without a hitch and you’re going to be sorry that you missed that fantastic after party.
So you’ve recovered from Slapdash and want to know what to do next? We are holding auditions for Bitten: A Zombie Rock Odyssey. We are also going to be have a fundraiser on August 18th. Watch this space for more information on the bands, the booze, and the silent auction!

Tonight and Actors!
UPDATE: We are almost sold out for tonight! But don’t worry, we’re going to pack them in, so get your reservations in now. If you don’t get them in, show up anyway. Even if we sell out, we’ll start a waiting list and it’s almost guaranteed that not every reservation will show up. But you’ll want to get there early or you might find your butt on a folding chair rather than a comfy theatre seat!
Tonight’s the night! We lock in at 10pm! Don’t forget to get your last minute reservations. And for your viewing pleasure, we have a slideshow of our actors, or rather the action figures that will be used to cast them.
UPDATE: And the Austinist has written us up. Don’t miss their interview of the crazy minds behind Slapdash!

Posters and Postcards
We know that you LGT fans are big on helping us out with advertising, but it’s so hard to get everywhere in town to hang a poster or leave postcards. That’s where you come in. If you have some favorite places where you know potential LGT fans hang out, please shoot Ian an email and he’ll hook you up with some posters or postcards.

Unbearables on "Before the Break"
Our good friends the Unbearables are on “Before the Break” on KUT. Somehow I missed this. Listen to Laurie talk to them about their background as well as where they’re going with music, including a brief mention of “Bitten! A Zombie Rock Odyssey”.
Also, don’t forget to get your tickets for Slapdash Flimflammery 3: Slapdash Slaps Back!
